Sony launches new BRAVIA OLED 4K TV at CES 2017

Not to be outdone by other tech companies at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2017, Sony unveiled its new XBR-A1E BRAVIA OLED series TV.

In a press release, Sony said that the new flagship series offers a “totally new entertainment experience” with a combination of Sony’s 4K HDR Processor X1 Extreme for high-quality OLED picture, Acoustic Surface sound system, and its unique form factor.

According to Sony, the new Acoustic Surface technology allows the A1E BRAVIA TV to emit sounds directly from its screen. With this, Sony said that the A1E series can achieve “a perfect unification of picture and sound unattainable by conventional TVs.”

Sony has yet to announce pricing and release date for the XBR-A1E BRAVIA OLED series TV.
