YouTube unveils new live TV streaming service

YouTube, the popular Google-owned video-sharing website, is venturing into live TV streaming business with the launch of YouTube TV.

According to the company’s blog post, YouTube TV is designed to enable users to watch TV and catch their favorite shows even if they are away from their TV screens. For $35 a month, YouTube TV members will be able to stream TV shows from famous U.S. networks, through mobile, tablet, or computer.

In addition, those who will opt for YouTube TV membership will get an unlimited cloud DVR storage where live TV shows can be stored. YouTube will store each of the recordings for nine months.

YouTube TV will be available soon in the U.S.
