Sony launches new Xperia XZ Premium flagship phone

At the Mobile World Congress 2017 in Barcelona, Sony Mobile Communications launched the Xperia XZ Premium flagship smartphone with groundbreaking features.

According to Sony, the Xperia XZ Premium is the first smartphone to feature a 4K HDR display, and one of the first to feature the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor.

In addition, Sony said that the new flagship phone is equipped with the new Motion Eye camera system and an Exmor RS sensor to give the Xperia XZ Premium the ultimate capability in shooting photos.

Running on Android 7.0 Nougat, the Xperia XZ Premium comes with a 5.5-inch 4K HDR display, 4GB RAM, 64GB universal flash storage, microSD card slot of up to 256GB, 19MP main camera, 13MP front camera, IP68 water and dust resistance, and a 3230mAh battery.

Sony said that the Xperia XZ Premium will be available globally in Luminous Chrome and Deepsea Black beginning late spring.
