Solar rooftops will be mounted for commercial establishments such as Jollibee Foods Corp., Starbucks and other industrial clients.
Japanese-Filipino firm Transnational Uyeno Solar Corp. (TUSC) is installing this year rooftop-mounted solar power projects together with Japanese firm Sojitz Pla-Net Corp.
In an article written by the msn.com, Tokyo Ink president Takahiro Ochiai said that the installation of this solar project would help lessen the companies’ carbon footprint as they are saving on electricity costs.
TUSC wants to widen the use of solar power as a long-term investment wherein the firm formed as a joint venture between Philippines-based Transnational Renewable Energy Corp. (TREC) and Japan-based Uyeno Green Solutions Ltd. (UGS). TREC is a member of the Transnational Diversified Group of Companies (TDG), which has more than 30 member-firms in various industries.
The firm said that according to the TDG president Rashid A. Delgado said that for now, they aim for industrial installations rather than rather than the small household and “mega-sized” ground installations.
Daily alerts would be one if the installation feature which includes a precise update on the energy production of the solar panels. Other business and or companies to use solar rooftops would be Boracay E-Trike Charging Station, NYK-TDG Maritime Academy, St. Paul University of the Phils. in Tuguegarao and Republic Chemical Industries Inc. in Canlubang, Laguna.
