Acer introduces first tablet with a Chrome OS made for K-12 classrooms

High technology education is made even better for K-12 classrooms as Acer introduced the first ever tablet that runs with Chrome operating system especially designed for students and teachers.

The technology company unveiled the Acer Chromebook Tab 10 includes features such as a 9.7-inch, 2,048 x 1,536 IPS touch display with a Wacom EMR stylus made for easy writing, a dual-core Cortex-A72 and quad-core Cortex-A53 paired with 4GB of LPDDR3 memory perfect for school documents and files, and a 32GB of eMMC flash memory.

The tablet is also suitable with Wi-Fi and Bluetooth and can make data transfer possible with a USB Type-C 3.1 port and a microSD card reader.

The 1.21 pound device also has a 2MP front-facing webcam, 5MP rear camera, and a headphone jack for media sharing and interactions.
