Airpods are extremely popular that Apple have released two iterations by now. Banking on its popularity, Apple is launching a pro version – the Airpods Pro.

Apple’s Airpods Pro features a much bulkier design. It also gains support for silicone ear tips, and Apple included three sizes out of the box.
According to Apple, the Airpods Pro is designed to minimize discomfort when worn by the user. Plus, they are sweat and water resistant.
Like other wireless earphones in the upper pricing echelon, the Airpods Pro has active noise cancellation that blocks out noise and allows an immersive music streaming experience. Listeners can toggle between active noise cancellation mode and transparency mode, which lets them hear outside noise.
“The new in-ear AirPods Pro sound amazing with Adaptive EQ, fit comfortably with flexible ear tips and have innovative Active Noise Cancellation and Transparency mode,” Phil Schiller, Apple’s senior vice president of worldwide marketing, said. Combined with custom bass and amplifier, the company is dedicated to improving music playback than ever.
Apple’s H1 chip also makes an appearance which improves latency and connection.
Battery life is improved compared to the regular Airpods. Each earbuds have a 4.5 hours of music playback. With the wireless charging case, listeners can get up to 24 hours of listening time. Charging is not a problem since the case is compatible with all Qi-certified chargers.
Pricing and Availability
The Airpods Pro is available in the US starting October 30 for US$ 249. Local pricing is at PhP 14,990, but availability is unknown.
