Google launches YouTube Go app for people with limited connectivity

Google has announced its new YouTube app called YouTube Go, which is created for people in areas where connectivity is limited.

According to YouTube Vice President of Product Management Johanna Wright, the new YouTube app is designed with four concepts in mind – relatable, offline first, cost-effective, and social experience.

Some of YouTube Go’s most notable features include the ability to save videos offline, share videos with friends nearby, find and discover relatable videos on the home screen, and preview videos.

The company said that the new app is now available in India, with plans to make it more widely available early next year.
