Google will finally bring video messaging on Android Hangouts

The wait is almost over for users who are using Hangouts on Android, as Google is set to bring the video messaging feature on Google Play Store.

With this feature coming, Android users will soon be able to record and send up to a minute of video on their Hangouts accounts though another report said that they might be able to send even longer recordings.

Google first installed video messaging features for iOS Hangouts users on February 2014. At first, the feature had a 10-second limit but it has since been upgraded to as long as two minutes. Those with early access described video messaging as “just like sending a picture.”

While the video messaging feature was made available to iOS users, Android users had to settle with sending stickers in Google Voice conversations.
