Huawei has unveiled its new flagship phone called Huawei Mate 9 as it looks to battle with smartphone heavyweights Samsung and Apple.
In a Huawei news release, the company said that the Mate 9 merges industry-leading hardware with advanced software to give users an edge.
The 5.9-inch handset sports a screen resolution of 1920 x 1080. Some of its key features include a fast Kirin 960 chipset, an EMUI 5.0 user interface, SuperCharge technology, and a second generation Leica dual-lens camera with 12-megapixel RGB sensor, 20-megapixel monochrome sensor and Hybrid Zoom.
The Mate 9 comes in Black, Space Gray, Moonlight Silver, Champagne Gold, Mocha Brown and Ceramic White. It will be available in the following first-wave launch markets – China, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Kuwait, Malaysia, Poland, Saudi Arabia, Spain , Thailand, and the United Arab Emirates.
