Lenovo, leader in the PC market and trendsetter in the smartphone business globally, opens a new Lenovo Mobile Exclusive Store (LMES) in Balanga, Bataan. The new concept store is handled by Earthlinks Telecommunications and is located at the Victoria Galleria, 3rd floor Poblacion, Balanga City, Bataan.

Country General Manager of Lenovo Philippines, Michael Ngan, is excited to announce the new and first LMES in Bataan. “According to the Philippine Statistics Authority, Bataan’s population trend is continuously increasing, from 2.72% between 1990 to 1995 to 2.74% between 2000 to 2010. It has been ranked as the fifth in Central Luzon in terms of population size and we foresee a continuous growth as a result of the recent investments in the province. We want to be part of that growth and make sure we are a step ahead in offering powerful devices to consumers.”

Foreign direct investments (FDI) in the Authority of Freeport Area in Bataan (AFAB) have increased, according to the Manila Standard Times. From 61 million last year, investment commitments in the Freeport have spiked up to 84 billion. This increase gave way to the employment of 14,315 people in 2013 and is expected to rise up to 16, 724 people as soon as all 46 locators have become fully operational. Locators are currently engaged in BPO, manufacturing operations, energy, and tourism to name a few.

Dino Romano, Lenovo Mobile Country Head said that the Philippines is an important market for Lenovo. “Our concept stores help us become more visible in the market and create a strong portfolio for smartphone users.” He adds, “The new LMES in Bataan aims to reach out to a promising market that is comprised of a young workforce. Lenovo’s wide range of smartphones feature multi-core processors that would allow our consumers to perform multi-tasking activities and staying connected and at the same time, allow them to have fun with their device without breaking the bank.”

The new concept store carries Lenovo’s latest smartphones ranging from entry level to high-end devices that cater to specific needs of consumers. For those who like to do more, Lenovo included the DOIt applications namely SYNCit, SHAREit, SECUREit, SNAPit and CLONEit that perfectly complement some mid-range to high-range devices to allow users to perform several tasks efficiently.
