PH mobile Internet connectivity near bottom in 4G speed

The Philippines ranked 74th out of 77 countries in terms of 4G LTE speed, and placed 69th in terms of availability. This according to the latest survey released by mobile network research firm OpenSignal.

OpenSignal’s “State of the LTE Report” for November 2017 revealed the Philippines ranked 74th out of 77 countries in terms of 4G speed. The country clocked in an average download speed of just 8.24 Mbps.

Top on the list are Singapore with 46.64 Mbps, South Korea with 45.85 Mbps, and Norway with 42.03 Mbps, while India, Costa Rica, and Saudi Arabia performed worst, with respective average download speeds of 6.13 Mbps, 6.98 Mbps, and 7.33 Mbps respectively.

In as far as LTE availability is concern, the Philippines was at the 69th spot with 58.83 percent.
