Leading telecoms and digital services provider PLDT harvested 13 trophies at the 53rd Anvil Awards of the Public Relations Society of the Philippines (PRSP) for its outstanding communications campaigns in the past year.
Winning a Gold Anvil for PLDT is the “Fibr XP: Bringing the Fibr Experience Nationwide” of its unit PLDT Home, as well as four Silver Anvils for “Home Fibr the Ms. Universe,” “#ConnectwithPurpose Social Media Day”, and the “Home Fibr XP Roku-powered TVolution” launch event and the whole campaign.
Four Silver Anvil trophies were also given to PLDT Enterprise for its campaigns directed to their enterprise and government clients with the “2016 MVP Bossing Awards”, “Industry Suite Launch”, “Hot Joe Magazine” and its “LGU Campaign.”
Meanwhile, PLDT Public Affairs brought home two Silver Anvils for the “PLDT 2016 Annual Report – Digital Like Never Before” and the 88th anniversary event “#PLDT88 Hackathon: Creating Digital Tools for the Better Customer Experience.”
Completing the 13 awards for PLDT is the 10th anniversary celebration of Gabay Guro, “A Decade of Dedication and Gratitude to Filipino Teachers,” and the Gabay Guro campaign which is the flagship education advocacy program of PLDT Smart Foundation and the PLDT Managers’ Club Inc.

An annual awarding fete, the Anvil Awards of the PRSP is a symbol of excellence in the public relations community as it recognizes outstanding PR and communications programs from the private and public sector emphasizing the real value of PR in creating successful brands and companies.
