Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos is now worth over $90 billion making him the world’s richest man, unseating Microsoft tech billionaire Bill Gates who is now in second place with net worth of $90 billion in the latest list released by Forbes.
Amazon shares jumped 1.6 percent at the start of trading that boosted the net worth of Bezos by US$1.4 billion, according to Forbes, which tracks the world’s richest people.
Warren Buffet comes third with $65.5 billion followed by Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg with $55.5 billion.
