A year ago, the social networking site Facebook went public with a feature that allows businesses and people to use Facebook to fill and find jobs. Facebook recently announced that they will expand their job posting functionality to more than 40 countries.
Facebook also added several new features such as the ability for businesses to create job postings on mobile, manage applications and schedule interviews while job-seekers can now set up job alerts for the types of position they’re most interested in.
Facebook’s feature is focused on small and medium-sized business compared to LinkedIn who is geared toward highly skilled and highly educated candidates.
