Technology for Education Transformation in Philippines

In response to the changing educational needs of young people, Felta Multi-media Incorporated partnered with Intel Education and Microsoft Philippines to launch a ruggedized, water-resistant laptop that is powered by the Intel Baytrail Quad-Core processor and runs on Windows 8.1 operating system with Bing and Microsoft Office.

Felta Multi-Media president and CEO Mylene Abiva shared that her company is eager to develop school technology solutions that encourages versatile and innovative learning. She also said that they offer valuable insight on the changing needs of educational institutions and the technology that can help learning more effective while still engaging and remaining relevant to students.

Carlo Subido, the Business Development Manager of Intel Microelectronics Philippines says that Intel Education believes that the transformative education initiative starts from a vision of student success where goals drive change. He said that their partnership with Felta is a part of their vision of helping education leaders and visionaries redefine the education system today.

Last but not the least, Microsoft Philippines’ Windows Business Group Lead, Mae Rivera-Moreno said that their program for education promotes effective, immersive learning experiences to inspire teachers and students to realize their full potential. She added that their partnership with Felta is an important milestone for their education agenda.
